I started my media career with Samuelson Lighting back in 1998. I was lucky enough to find myself working on some very large films, such as 'The World Is Not Enough' and 'Eyes Wide Shut'. I moved into television in 2000 and became a lighting programmer and operator. Soon after I started working as a freelance lighting programmer and the natural progression was to move into lighting direction and design. My work is now split between lighting direction and programming. I have worked on an extremely wide range of projects in many different styles, ranging from mainstream films to single camera shoots, but mostly live multi camera prime time shows.

I also have a keen interest in flying and I'm working towards a commercial helicopter licence. I'm lucky enough to have flown all over the UK and it does mean I can get to any location very quickly. I have flown 2 seater Robinson R22s to Eurocopter E135-T2s, contact me if you need or want to travel anywhere by helicopter. Its not as expensive as you might think!

I have a wonderful wife; Michelle, and three beautiful children; Molly, Reuben and Matilda who I adore.
